Is it still worth playing?
The original Bomberman is locked up on a space station by five evil cyborgs, and he fights his way out across five worlds, in this 1994 maze game for the Super Nintendo. In the story mode you lay bombs to destroy the monsters and flip the switches that open the gate to the next area. Blocks you destroy uncover power ups for bomb count, firepower and speed, or abilities such as remote control bombs and throwing. Each world ends with a boss, fought first on foot and then inside a machine. It is the one game of the series without a two player story mode. Battle Mode has two players, or four with a multitap, in normal or team matches, with match time you can adjust or turn off, and the Power Glove picks up and throws bombs. Matches with friends, with a multitap for four, still give a group of players something to play.
