A military organization led by Commander Repeatski travels through points in history to make the present a better place, in this side scrolling shooter from Capybara Games. When your character dies, or you end the run on purpose, the Time Out mechanic lets you rewind to an earlier moment and start again alongside a ghost of the previous run. Its gameplay was inspired by Contra and Metal Slug. Each squad member has a distinct ability and special move, and the cast includes PlayStation themed names such as Shuhei Yoshida and Sir Galahad from The Order: 1886. The eras you visit have several acts each, and the bosses are very imaginative. Side missions work like puzzles, and a spaceship serves as the hub. Ultra came to the PlayStation 4 and Vita in 2015. Because every avoided death turns into a power up, mistakes do not stop the action.
