Is it still worth playing?
In 2191 EuroCorp runs the world, having installed a chip in every citizen that makes them believe in a bright and happy world, and the Church of the New Epoch wants it. You play one side or the other with four agents in missions across the cities of the world, though the two sides play much the same. This 1996 game for DOS, with a PlayStation version in 1997, comes 95 years after Syndicate. The world is fully 3D and the camera can be rotated and tilted, so an agent behind a building is a rotation away, in a darker look with weather effects. Pacing is faster, pistols and shotguns are gone, the Uzi is the default weapon, buildings come down, there is research, and the Persuadertron turns the crowd into fighters who follow you. Its producer Mike Diskett returned to the idea with Satellite Reign in 2015. The rotation still lets you turn a city in your hands and bring it down.
