Is it still worth playing?
A 1987 American football game for the arcades, played on a large cabinet with two screens and up to four players. Only two fictional teams, the Wildcats and the Bulldogs, can be chosen. Players can break tackles, and the graphics use a larger color palette and more detailed sprites than the NES port that followed in 1989. That port was the first console game to include real NFL players, through a license from the players association, and added one player, two player and coach modes. It was later followed by Tecmo Super Bowl. Two fixed teams, up to four players and tackles to break still make a simple game of football.
