You choose a team of three characters from Capcom's games and Marvel Comics and swap between them at any point of the match, in this 2011 crossover fighting game, an updated version of Marvel vs. Capcom 3. The aerial combat and X-Factor systems were adjusted, and the roster was expanded to 36 characters. Special combos, juggles and ultimate abilities vary by team, so the lineup you pick adds strategy. Some offline modes offer Simple or Normal combat styles. Heroes and Heralds lets you build a three card deck with abilities that help your characters. The game reached the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and later the PlayStation Vita. Simple controls still make a big cast easy to start with.
