Is it still worth playing?

A rural village of animal neighbors is synced to the Wii's clock and calendar, so the day, the season and the events follow real time, in this 2008 social simulation game for the Wii. The Wii Remote works as a fishing rod and a bug net, and its pointer and motion controls handle the axe, shovel and watering can. The big addition is the city, with special shops and many of the original game's characters you can find at any time. Each town starts with six animal residents and can grow to ten. It uses Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to visit friends' villages, and it was the first Wii game to support the Wii Speak microphone for voice chat. A town that follows the real calendar still gives you a reason to check in each day.
