Is it still worth playing?

You play an astronaut who colonizes planets, creates structures and collects resources, in this 2019 sandbox adventure from System Era Softworks, seen from a third person view. The open world planets are procedurally generated, and you can reshape the terrain with a terrain tool. You travel on foot, by rover, through teleportation or by spacecraft, and exploring is how you find materials and research items. Craftable items include rovers, buggies, spacecraft, shelters, generators and solar panels, built from two base materials, Resin and Compound, plus rarer ones. Oxygen runs low, so you recharge with portable oxygenators or stay near tethers chained from a base. A mission log guides you toward purple structures and then to other planets, and a terrain tool gun extracts resources from the ground. A planet you can dig into and build on still invites you to play with it.
