Is it still worth playing?

The world of Tempest needs a champion: a warlord's armies have the last stronghold of the good at bay, and one is sent out against him, in this 1995 dungeon crawler for MS-DOS. It is first person, with the dungeons pre rendered rather than drawn on the fly, for atmosphere, and more than 25 spells and items draw on the elements, earth, wind, fire and lightning. You have one character, chosen from several, rather than a party, and no experience points, since the abilities and spells grow with use. The enemies attack at set intervals, so the pace of a fight is yours to set, and the game can be finished with the left mouse button alone. The intervals still make it a dungeon crawl whose fights wait for you to decide.
