About this game
LucasArts' 1993 adventure, in which three friends are thrown into three different centuries by a time machine that does not work properly. One is stuck two hundred years in the past among the founding fathers, one lands two hundred years ahead in a mansion run by a tentacle, and one stays where he is. You switch between them whenever you like, and small objects travel between the centuries down a pair of modified portable toilets. The puzzles are built across the gap, so you change something in the past and it is waiting, aged, in the future. It is the last SCUMM game to use the verb list, you cannot die, and the whole of Maniac Mansion is playable on a computer inside it. There are no dead ends either, so nothing can go quietly wrong hours earlier, and the only thing between you and the ending is working out which century a problem belongs in.
