Donald Duck sets out to save his uncle from a cursed pendant that makes anyone who takes it from its home swell up like a balloon, in this 1993 platformer for the Master System and Game Gear. Donald has to return it to a statue on an island. He jumps on enemies and kicks blocks at them, and a block kicked into a wall can reveal treasure while one kicked into a pothole makes a bridge. You choose your own route through most of the levels, and each ends with a boss, often a wild animal. The boss fights are chases where Donald runs at speed and dodges the boss and obstacles. Ice cream cones and roasted chickens restore health, and chili peppers make him invincible for a time. Kicking blocks to make bridges or find treasure still gives each stage a little puzzle to solve.
