Is it still worth playing?
Fat Cat has escaped from jail and means to steal a relic called the Urn of the Pharaoh, and Chip and Dale go after him, in this platformer from late 1993 for the NES. Each stage is a side scrolling action game where the chipmunks walk, jump, duck and pick up acorns, crates, barrels and balls to throw at enemies and bosses. Each can take three hits before losing a life. One player picks Chip or Dale, and in a two player game one of them can pick up and throw the other as a weapon. There is no map screen, and the stages come in a fixed order, apart from the first three at the amusement park. The bosses have upgraded attack patterns and battlefield hazards, such as flooding platforms that drag you toward a chasm. Two players who can throw each other and bosses with hazards of their own still make it a game to share.
