Is it still worth playing?

Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong set out to rescue Donkey Kong from the Kremling Krew, in this 1996 platformer that shrinks Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest to fit a Game Boy cartridge. Its stage names and world themes come from that game, though the level designs are different, and the story is the one told in the manual, with Kaptain K. Rool holding Donkey Kong on Crocodile Isle. Only one Kong is on screen at a time, so the move where one stands on the other's shoulders to throw them was cut. Saving no longer needs all four KONG letters in a level: you collect two banana coins in any level and spend them at Kong College. It was enhanced for the Super Game Boy with extra colors and a banana border, and came on a banana yellow cartridge. The quest to rescue Donkey Kong is still there to play today, with levels redesigned for the handheld.
