Is it still worth playing?
Dixie Kong and her toddler cousin Kiddy Kong set out to find the Lost World in this 1997 Game Boy platformer, while Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong have already left ahead of them. The game has 42 levels set in places such as a riverside, cliffs, snow and underwater, and some have toboggan rides. You switch between the two Kongs with Select, and their abilities differ, as Dixie has a helicopter spin. Levels hide KONG letters, coins, life balloons and bananas, and a hundred bananas give an extra life. Hidden bonuses are common. You save through Wrinkly Kong after clearing some levels, and a bear sells hints, teleports and chances to win watches and DK Coins, which are all needed before the final fight. The levels use the settings of Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! on the SNES. Two Kongs with different abilities and hidden bonuses give each stage reasons to look around today.
