Is it still worth playing?

Terry Bogard and his adoptive son Rock Howard enter a South Town tournament to learn about the Howard legacy, in this 1999 fighting game from SNK for the Neo Geo. It reboots the Fatal Fury series with a new cast, and Terry is the only returning fighter. Just Defend rewards blocking on the exact frame an attack would land with a flash on screen and a little health back. Tactical Offensive Position lets you pick a segment of your life bar, and while your health sits inside it you gain extra abilities, including a special attack for each character. The system was designed to be accessible to newcomers. The Dreamcast version was released as Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves in America. Just Defend and a life bar that unlocks moves still give each round its own decisions.
