Is it still worth playing?

A licensed game from Activision based on the film, designed by David Crane and released in 1984, mainly for the Commodore 64. You run your own Ghostbusters franchise rather than playing the film's characters, spending a bank loan on a vehicle and equipment. On a grid of the city, flashing red blocks mark ghost activity, and you drive through an overhead street view to the spot. There you maneuver two Ghostbusters to guide a ghost onto a trap, and each failure raises the city's energy level and incapacitates a team member. If you earned more than you spent when the energy peaks, you can get two Ghostbusters past the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man to destroy the temple of Zuul. Activision finished it in six weeks, building on a prototype called Car Wars. Running the business instead of starring in the film still gives it a flavor of its own.
