Is it still worth playing?

A racing game from Leland Corporation for arcades, released in 1989 and endorsed by the off road racer Ivan Stewart, with John Morgan as designer and lead programmer. Up to three players race trucks around top view indoor tracks of increasing difficulty, against each other or the computer. There are eight tracks and 99 races, and each track is raced more than once. First place earns points for the championship and money to upgrade your truck or buy more nitro, and the goal is to end the season with the most money. It was one of the first games where you could upgrade your vehicle with what you earned, an idea used in many racing games since. Home versions followed for computers and most consoles, and some lack the Ivan Stewart name because of licensing, so they are called Super Off Road. Three trucks on one screen with upgrades between races still make a quick game for friends.
