Is it still worth playing?

Maximo searches for his lost love Sophia, with Grim the Reaper, when mechanical creatures begin to attack villages, in this 2003 action adventure for the PlayStation 2. Capcom's US studio made it as the sequel to Maximo: Ghosts to Glory, part of the Ghosts n Goblins franchise. The creatures are the Army of Zin, an ancient army powered by lost souls, locked in the vault of Castle Hawkmoor and freed by the warlord Lord Bane. The gameplay is hack and slash combat and platforming, with an armour system where damage is reflected by loss of armour, from full armour down to boxer shorts. You can turn into a Grim Reaper for short periods with the souls you gather, becoming invulnerable, powerful and faster, and villagers you save give rewards such as new armour. The shield meter is gone, so blocking is unlimited, and the original's pay to save system was removed.
