Is it still worth playing?

Mega Man faces Wily's newest Robot Masters, powered by a system he built years ago, in this 2018 platform game from Capcom. It ended an eight year gap in the series and swaps the 8 bit look for 2.5D, cel shaded graphics. The Double Gear lets Mega Man either power up his weapons or slow down time for short periods, which helps in tricky platforming and with fast bosses. Eight stages can be played in any order, and defeating a boss grants its power. Bolts collected from enemies buy extra lives, energy tanks and upgrades in the lab, and four difficulty modes run from Casual to Superhero. Challenge modes such as Balloon Rush reuse the main levels. Learning each stage until you can run it cleanly is still part of the series' appeal.
