The survivor of a space freighter crash fights monsters on a strange planet while collecting items that boost offense and defense, in this 2013 roguelike platform game from Hopoo Games. You pick one of twelve characters, each with their own statistics and moves, and more are unlocked by completing objectives. The goal on every stage is to find a teleporter placed in a random location. Time equals difficulty: the longer a run lasts, the stronger the monsters become, so you have to choose between building up experience and finishing levels quickly. Death is permanent, enemies and stages are randomly generated, and over a hundred items change how you fight. Online co-op supports up to ten players, and local play two. Two students made it before a Kickstarter. A ticking clock still turns every stage into a decision about greed.
