Is it still worth playing?
Eight new Robot Masters, built by a scientist from Russia named Cossack, threaten the world, and Mega Man sets out to stop them, in this 1991 platformer for the NES. You pick the stages in any order, and each defeated Robot Master gives a weapon that is the weakness of another. Every stage has at least one obstacle of its own: Dust Man's has a ceiling that falls and rises, and Toad Man's has rain and sewer water that pushes you back. Two levels hide secret paths to bonus items. It is the first game where Mega Man has the Mega Buster, which charges a shot into a much more powerful blast. Dr. Light also builds the support robot Eddie, and the slide from Mega Man 3 returns. Four final stages wait in Dr. Cossack's citadel. Eight stages to choose from in any order, each with an obstacle of its own, still leave the route to you.
