Is it still worth playing?

On Hedoth Prime in the 23rd century three CorpoNations, RimTech, Mil-Agro and Neuropa, fight over alien technology, in this 2000 real time strategy game for Windows, remastered for Steam in 2018. The battlefield has three layers, the surface, orbit and underground, and the enemy can arrive from any of them. The combots are the thing: robots built from parts, an arm here and a leg there, that can be cut off an enemy and bolted on to your own, so a machine that has won a few fights is wearing its enemies. The amputation still makes the arm you cut off yours.
