Is it still worth playing?

A 2021 side scrolling action game for the Nintendo Switch and the sequel to Metroid Fusion, in which Samus Aran investigates the source of a mysterious transmission on the planet ZDR. As in earlier Metroid games, new items and weapons open new areas. Each zone also has an area patrolled by an E.M.M.I., a robot you cannot hurt at first. There you hide, keep quiet and use the Phantom Cloak, which makes Samus invisible but slower. If one catches her, there are two narrow windows to counter and escape, and missing both kills her. A temporary upgrade lets you destroy one, which earns a permanent new ability. Samus can also parry an attack, which leaves the enemy open to a powerful counter. It still plays well because of how the map opens up, and because the E.M.M.I. areas turn the exploring into a chase every so often.
