Marcus Cromwell, a young and already famous captain, commands a ship among the moons of Jupiter in the 22nd century, where megacorporations hold a fragile balance. He finds alien civilizations and the Mechanoids, a plague of nanomachines. This 2004 space game for Windows, in North America in 2005, took more than four years and began as Imperium Galactica 3. It is real time tactics rather than strategy: a few large ships with their fighters and bombers, and the game is handling them, their systems, their weapons and their positions, with no base and no resources to gather. The handful of ships still makes every hull a name and a crew you cannot replace.
