Is it still worth playing?

Evan, a young king whose throne is stolen, sets out to build a new kingdom, in this 2018 action role-playing game from Level-5 and a sequel to Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Battles take place on open battlefields where you move freely, with all-out action combat of dodge rolls, combos and special moves in place of the first game's turn based hybrid system. Evan can command a small army in real time skirmishes on the world map, and later a kingdom management system has you recruit citizens to your cause. The overworld is a diorama and the characters have a chibi design. The elemental creatures called Higgledies cast spells and grant bonuses in battle. The main path takes about 35 hours. Building a kingdom beside the story still gives a long adventure a second thing to do.
