Is it still worth playing?

A servant sent by the Master travels to a world emptied by the evil spirit Deathtoll, in this 1992 action role playing game for the Super Nintendo. The job is to destroy monsters and free the souls they have captured. Defeating the monsters in a lair releases a soul that is reincarnated, often as a human but sometimes as a dolphin or a talking tulip, and the town is rebuilt around each one. The new residents give advice and items, and better weapons, armor and magic come from them as the story moves on. Your character levels up by defeating the monsters from the lairs, and each area ends with a boss who holds the soul of the town's head. Sword swinging is the main way of fighting. Each dungeon fight still has a visible reward, as an area is rebuilt one soul at a time.
