Is it still worth playing?

The podrace of the film becomes a game in this 1999 racing game for Windows and the Nintendo 64, on the Dreamcast, Switch and PlayStation 4 since. You can race as Anakin Skywalker or one of over 21 podracers on 8 worlds, with the Tatooine courses from the film and other planets added. The afterburner is the thing: hold it and the pod goes faster and the engines heat, and hold it too long and they burn out, while every collision costs damage that has to be nursed. A tournament pays money for parts, and eight race on a split screen or a network. The afterburner still makes speed a gamble with the engines.
