About this game
Nintendo's 2011 remake of the 1998 game for the 3DS: still Link, a sword, a lock on and an ocarina, and now with a second screen underneath it. Items and the map live down there, so the iron boots the Water Temple keeps asking for are a tap rather than a trip through a menu, and that dungeon was recoloured so its floors can be told apart. A bow can be aimed by tilting the console. A Sheikah Stone will play you a video of what to do if you are stuck. Finish it and Master Quest opens, the same game mirrored left to right with rebuilt dungeons and enemies that hit twice as hard. The adventure itself is the 1998 one, unchanged. The second screen took away the part of it that had dated, which was stopping every few minutes to open a menu.
