Is it still worth playing?

Allied spy William Blazkowicz escapes from the Nazi prison Castle Wolfenstein and carries out missions against the Nazis, in this 1992 first person shooter for MS-DOS. Each level is a flat grid of rooms divided by walls and doors, and you reach an elevator to the next one, or fight a boss at the end of an episode. You fight guards, soldiers and dogs with a knife, a pistol, a submachine gun and a chain gun, and you find keys for locked doors. Health is a percentage, and when it hits zero you lose a life and restart the level with a knife, a pistol and eight bullets. Points come from enemies and treasure, and also from finding every secret room, which opens when you push certain wall tiles, and from beating a par time. It was released as shareware, with the first episode free. Hunting for secret rooms and beating a par time still give each level a reason to be played again.
