Is it still worth playing?

The war continues in 2040 under the sea. Seeking to take advantage of a weakened Earth, the aliens launch a second front, as hibernating sea creatures wake from a ship that fell into what is now the Gulf of Mexico 65 million years ago. This 1995 strategy game for DOS is the sequel to UFO: Enemy Unknown. The publisher's own UK studio kept the first game's engine, redrew everything, wrote a new story and changed as little as it could, within a year. The shape is the first game's: a Geoscape of the world in real time, bases, research and interceptions, and a Battlescape of turn based fights, now with melee weapons, equipment for the deep and guns that will not fire out of the water. The depth is still the first game's two layers, with a sea between the ship you lost and the squad you send after it.
