Is it still worth playing?
Magic has been banned from the Underground Empire of Zork by edict of the Grand Inquisitor, and you are a vacuum cleaner salesperson pulled into bringing it back by finding three hidden artifacts. It is a 1997 adventure for Windows, with a Macintosh version in 2001, 120 years after Zork Nemesis and back to the jokes. You play in the first person through pre rendered places with a cursor to examine, take and use things, and now and then one of the supporting characters, and a fatal mistake brings up text in the manner of the old trilogy. It shipped with true closed captions, rare in 1997. Two announced sequels never came. The jokes still make it a Zork that laughs, with supporting characters to step into.
