Desmond Miles relives the memories of his ancestors with the Animus to find a way to avert the 2012 apocalypse, in this 2012 action adventure from Ubisoft Montreal, the fifth major Assassin's Creed. The main story is set in Colonial America from 1754 to 1783. Haytham Kenway, a British Templar, tries to build a presence for his order in the colonies, and his half Mohawk son Connor becomes an Assassin to protect his people. Connor battles the Templars' attempts to influence the American Revolution. It is an open world game seen from a third person view, centered on combat and stealth, and you can explore 18th century Boston, New York and the frontier to complete side missions. The frontier is a wilderness where you can hunt animals, attack forts and climb trees, and brief sea battles add a naval line. A frontier to hunt in and a sea to fight on still widen the Revolution beyond its cities.
