Is it still worth playing?

Players guide a civilization through 500,000 years of human history, divided into 14 epochs from the prehistoric age to the nano age, in this 2001 real-time strategy game by Stainless Steel Studios. You gather resources, construct buildings, produce citizens and conquer rival civilizations in 3D. New technologies, buildings and weapons arrive as you advance, but advancing does not guarantee success, since a civilization can flourish in one epoch and be crushed in the next. A morale system affects the statistics of individual units, and heroes can be built at the town center or capital. The Art of Conquest expansion added a 15th epoch about colonizing space. Fourteen epochs in one match still give it a long arc to play through.
