Is it still worth playing?
A science fantasy real time strategy game from Big Huge Games, a spin off of Rise of Nations set in a fantasy world where technology and magic exist side by side, released in 2006. New features include city districts, heroes, a simpler economy with two resources and neutral units and buildings that you can siege. Instead of 18 civilizations there are three distinct races: the technological Vinci, the magical Alin and the alien like Cuotl, who replace wealth with energy as a resource. Besides a city center you build districts that increase the size of the city and give benefits, and the game uses the AGEIA PhysX engine. Only foot soldiers can storm enemy cities, and each nation has heroes who gain experience and unlock special abilities. Three races that play differently still make each campaign a new take.
