Americans and Russians fight over Siberite, a mineral that fuels cold fusion, after being sent back in time, in this 2001 real-time strategy game by the Czech studio Altar Interactive. An alien machine called EON can send objects into the past, so a force is dispatched to move the Siberite into American hands, or to keep it where it is when you command the Russians. Arab mercenaries who want the mineral destroyed stand in the way of both. You train a team of soldiers, mechanics, scientists and engineers, and you can build vehicles of your own design or steal your opponent's plans. It mixes role playing with real-time strategy, so each member of the team matters. A team of specialists makes the squad matter as much as the army.
