Is it still worth playing?

A scrolling shooter developed by Red Company and published by Hudson Soft for the TurboGrafx-CD in 1992, the first game in North America to support the Super CD-ROM² format. You fly the Hunting Dog fighter piloted by the space cop Hawk, with his ally Esty in the Wild Cat support ship, to stop General Don Jingi's armada from taking a powerful energy source from the planet Aries. You choose among four difficulty settings and fly through seven stages of constant scrolling, fighting a boss to move on. Red Raimon, the group behind it, was made up of former Technosoft staff who had worked on the Thunder Force games. The soundtrack is heavy metal in CD quality. Its follow up, Lords of Thunder, came in 1993. Seven stages of constant scrolling with a boss at each end still make it quick to pick up for another try.
