Is it still worth playing?

A vertically scrolling shooter developed and published by Compile for the Game Gear in 1991, released only in Japan. You control Ellinor Waizen in the Galvanic Gunner fighter against the invading Moon Child army, through seven stages that scroll constantly until a boss, with a bonus round before the fourth and sixth. It has no bombs, but your ship detonates when destroyed, damaging everything on the screen, and then returns with less firepower. There are eight weapons, and the first stage is a space colony with parallax scrolling. The small Game Gear screen makes the tiny sprites hard to see. A ship that clears the screen when it dies still turns every loss into a last shot.
