Is it still worth playing?

A scrolling shooter developed by Shin'en Multimedia for the Game Boy Advance, the sequel to Iridion 3D, though it is played from a different perspective. Many years after the first game, the Iridion Empire returns to attack the human colonies, and you pilot the SHN-27 to save mankind. There are three modes, Story, Arcade and Challenge, and clearing Story mode unlocks the other two. In Story mode you chase the Iridion forces through five solar systems, three areas each, for fifteen levels that each end with a boss. At the start of each stage you pick one of six weapons, and you can change weapons in play once you collect a green power up. Other power ups raise your firepower or restore your armor, and green ones add satellites that increase your shot count. Challenge mode is a boss attack mode. A handheld shooter with six weapons to choose from still gives each stage a different feel.
