Is it still worth playing?

Two rival princes race to save a kidnapped princess and are both cursed into frogs, in this 1992 action role-playing game by Nintendo and Intelligent Systems for the Game Boy, released only in Japan. The title is a play on the novel For Whom the Bell Tolls. The game mixes an overhead perspective with flip screen rooms and side view sections, and the dungeons play almost like platformers, while the overworld is a more traditional exploration map. In frog form you swim well but fight poorly, except against insects, which you eat automatically. Treasure chests hold stat boosting gear. Touching a monster starts a battle you cannot control, other than an escape that seems to work at random, and the result depends on your stats. The quest lasts about five hours, and Link's Awakening later used its engine. Battles decided by your stats still make the gear in every chest the thing to look for.
