Is it still worth playing?

This 1998 Sega Saturn remake of a role playing game set a thousand years after the first Lunar follows Hiro, a young treasure hunter, who meets Lucia, a woman from the Blue Star. Hiro fights with boomerangs, and Ruby, a tiny red flying dragon, gives small attacks that can finish off nearly dead enemies. The party grows with Ronfar, Jean, Lemina and Leo. Compared with the Sega CD game, enemies are visible on the map instead of random battles, and the magic experience system is gone, so characters learn skills through ordinary level ups. Each character has two crest slots for limited customization, items come from a shared pool, and the dungeons are shorter and simpler. The Saturn release is on two discs. Visible enemies and short dungeons still keep its long story moving.
