Is it still worth playing?
A role playing game for the Game Boy Color developed by the American studio Interactive Imagination and released in 2001, based on the collectible card game Magi Nation Duel. You play Tony Jones, a shy teenager who picks up a crystal in a cave and wakes in a strange world, where he is taken for a prophesied hero called Magus Kyros. His first stop is the city of Vash Naroom, built in the tree canopies, before a dungeon erupts in a nearby forest. The game is about taming dream creatures and fighting with them. When you defeat a creature you may get its animite, a magical stone that can be forged into rings, and each ring lets you summon that creature in battle. A Magi can summon up to four creatures at once, with up to ten rings equipped, and can fight on its own by casting spells or regenerating energy. A creature collection tied to a card game still gives it a pace of its own.
