Is it still worth playing?

Proto Man seems to lead an army of robots in attacks on the world and kidnaps Mega Man's creator, so Mega Man has to fight his own brother, in this 1992 platformer for the NES. You choose among eight Robot Master stages in any order, and each boss gives a weapon that is the weakness of another, so the order matters. Star Man's Star Crash is a shield that protects you from small enemies and projectiles. Gravity Man's stage switches gravity, and Wave Man's includes a vehicle section. Each stage hides a Letter Plate, and collecting them all to spell MEGAMANV unlocks Beat, a robotic bird that helps in the fights. Rush, the slide and the charge shot from the earlier games carry over, with no new basic moves. Eight stages with tricks of their own, such as switching gravity or riding a vehicle, are still there to be picked in any order.
