Is it still worth playing?
Three on three street basketball with NBA teams, unlockable legends and over the top dunks, released in 2003 for the PlayStation 2, GameCube and Xbox. Tricks sit on their own buttons, and you can map each move to the combination you want. Juking with them fills the Gamebreaker meter, and spending it adds points to your side and takes points from the other. If you save it and fill the meter again, you get a Level 2 Gamebreaker, an unblockable shot that takes even more. Be a Legend is the main mode. In it you create a player and take them from nobody to street legend, spending Development points on stats and moves and recruiting players from the teams you beat. Beside it, NBA Challenge unlocks legends such as Larry Bird and Julius Erving, and up to four can play on one console. Tricks feed a meter that can turn the score around, and that keeps it worth playing today.
