Is it still worth playing?
A hack and slash platform game developed by SIMS and published by Sega for the Master System in 1992 under license from Tecmo, released only in Europe, Australia and other PAL regions. It stars Ryu Hayabusa, but its story is not connected to the other Ninja Gaiden games: he returns home to find his village destroyed and the Shinobido scroll stolen. It plays like the earlier games, but Ryu can no longer cling to walls, so you time a wall jump or fall. There are eight stages, including ice, volcano and waterfall levels. The Windmill Shuriken returns, and the other weapons include a projectile fired in four directions and homing fireballs, which make the game easier. A desperation attack kills every enemy on the screen but costs a quarter of Ryu's health. A short run of eight stages with a new jump to learn still makes it easy to try.
