Is it still worth playing?

Jack Mower, a young man from Earth, is pulled through his TV set into a high fantasy world and set against the sorceress Hecubah and her necromancers. It is a 2000 action role playing game for Windows. It began in a spare bedroom as a multiplayer magic simulator, and the studio that bought it leaned it towards a role playing game, with two more classes and a campaign. You pick a warrior, a conjurer or a wizard at the start and get a largely different linear story for each, seen from an oblique angle, with TrueSight, a fog of war that hides whatever your character could not see from where he stands, so a room is dark until you are in it. TrueSight still keeps the dungeon only as big as what your character can see.
