About this game
Team Silent's 2001 PS2 horror game, about James Sunderland, who goes to a town called Silent Hill because he has had a letter from his wife, who is dead. The fog cuts the street down to a few metres, so most of what frightens you is what you have not seen yet. The town shows each person something different, shaped by what they did before they came. The fighting is deliberately awkward, and that is a decision rather than a failing: being bad at it is most of what makes the game frightening. Six endings, and Konami has never said which is the real one.
