Is it still worth playing?
A horizontally scrolling shooter developed and published by Tecmo for arcades in 1988. You control a jeep with a machine gun or a helicopter with forward and downward guns, and two players can work together, one with each vehicle, while a single player picks either one. Enemies have weaknesses, such as armored anti aircraft guns that can only be hurt when their shields are down, and a giant mini boss helicopter is made of several smaller vehicles. You collect shields, which can also be shot to destroy every enemy on the screen, and power cells that increase your firepower. The game gets harder with each level. Home versions came in 1989 from The Sales Curve as Silkworm, and it inspired the 1991 game SWIV, which kept the helicopter and jeep team but scrolled vertically. Two different vehicles to share still make it a natural game for two players on one screen.
