Is it still worth playing?

You lead Luke Skywalker and Rogue Squadron through 16 missions against the Galactic Empire, set between the first two Star Wars films, in this 1998 flight action game for the Nintendo 64. The view is from behind the craft, and you can switch to first person. Each mission has its own objectives, such as search and destroy, reconnaissance, rescue or protecting something, and the craft you fly differ in armament, speed and maneuverability, from X wings to Y wings. Power ups hidden in levels improve weapons or durability. After each mission you earn a bronze, silver or gold medal, which promotes your rank and unlocks hidden content. It was one of the first games to use the Expansion Pak, for a higher resolution. There is no multiplayer mode. Missions with different goals and medals to chase still give each flight a purpose.
