Is it still worth playing?
Chow Yun-fat is Inspector Tequila, a Hong Kong detective traveling the globe in search of his kidnapped daughter, through Hong Kong and Chicago among triads and Ukrainian mobsters. It is a 2007 shooter for the Xbox 360, Windows and PlayStation 3, a sequel to John Woo's Hard Boiled. It is Woo's gun ballet as a third person shooter: Tequila Time slows the world, rooms come apart under fire, damage is placed on the body, and kills are scored for style, for running up a banister while shooting or swinging from a chandelier. Woo worked closely on it, turning down a plot about body parts for poetic violence over gore. The style score still marks you for how you came through the door.
