Is it still worth playing?
In this 1994 boxing game for the Super Nintendo you fight your way to become World Video Boxing Association champion, seeing the ring from behind your boxer, who is drawn translucent. There are four circuits of four opponents each, and a match lasts three minutes with no rounds, won by knocking the opponent down for the count or three times. You jab to the face or land body blows with either hand, and since opponents deflect punches you aim at the open spot. A power meter fills as you land punches and drains as you take them, and a full meter unlocks knockout punches such as uppercuts and hooks. Time Attack records the quickest knockouts. It is a one player game. Each opponent has a style and weaknesses you learn by watching, so patience still pays off today.
