Is it still worth playing?

A vehicular combat game developed by SingleTrac and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, released in 1996 for the PlayStation and Windows, the second in the Twisted Metal series. It is a demolition derby with weapons: you choose a vehicle and an arena, or a series of arenas in story mode, and fight other drivers, picking up weapons scattered through the stage until you are the last one left. Two player duel mode returns from the first game, and a cooperative mode lets you play through the tournament with a teammate, though there is no ending if you finish that way. The story is set in a ruined Los Angeles in 2006, a year after the first contest held by Calypso. The Windows version has slightly reduced graphics but needs no 3D card, and it supports play over a modem or the Internet. A last driver standing still makes each match a short fight.
